Initially,before 1960's we used traditional method in making of mechanical drawings,slowly with new technology we moved in using 3D CAD software and further optimizing design by using CAE software.
And presently optimizing designs through using DFMEA,Tolerance stack analysis(1D,2D and 3D) and so on and further moving on.....
